My Approach
"Ambience" means that special feeling... that unique atmosphere, surrounding a person or event. I have the passion and experience to capture the ambience of your special day. I work with complete professionalism, behind the scenes, to bring a fresh, new look to wedding photography.
Photojournalism is a storytelling style that documents what really happened. The photojournalist grasps the essence of events, then captures it in photos with impact. Often, sequences of photos follow the event from beginning to end, or zoom in on the action. The storytelling style captures a tender moment, vows whispered anew under a willow tree, followed by a kiss.
Too often, photographers come to weddings with a preconceived idea of what photos to take. But I have the vision and energy to see what's unique about your special day. For formal photos, I will work with you to find poses and gestures that are yours alone. You'll find that photography can be both fun and creative!
"Candid" means an unposed, informal photograph. The photojournalist goes beyond candid to freeze the action at its peak moment, to capture the essence, to find the feeling... to tell stories.
